Each program is a step in a continuum that prepares young men and women for college, careers, and civic leadership. We blend mentoring, exposure, and practical skills so students are equipped and ready to succeed.
The Saturday Academy builds skills and curiosity. Our Saturday sessions include Aviation Day, Life After Professional Sports, My Brother’s Keeper: Keeping our Kids Out of the Criminal Justice Pipeline, and Mentoring to Medicine. Each session pairs students with industry professionals for hands on learning, career exposure, and mentorship.
The Next Chapter: A College Tour Experience gives high school boys immersive visits to HBCUs and the U.S. Naval Academy. Since 2017 we’ve visited 30+ campuses and helped 95% of participants matriculate to college. The tour includes campus tours, historical landmarks, and mentor led reflection sessions.
Collegiate 100 was founded by Houston members at Prairie View A&M University. Now the 100 Black Men of America has chapters across the nation. Our co ed chapters also including Texas Southern University and University of Houston support student success through leadership development, career readiness, and community service. Chapters connect students to mentors and professional networks.
Emerging 100 members (ages 22–34) receive leadership training, networking opportunities, and service roles that prepare them to become professional and community leaders. In addition to being a pipeline to leadership, these young men provide mentoring and programs throughout Houston.
